Sunderland would have to have a fantastic finish to the season to stay up. They have been living on borrowed time for the last few seasons and I suspect that their time is up. I think the other two places will be from Palace, Middlesbrough, Hull, Swansea and Burnley. I can't see us winning all of the supposedly easier games, which means we will need to take points off one or two of the top teams if we are to survive another season. As ever, the bottom of the PL is shaping up to be far more interesting than the top. Swap (or possibly add) Watford for Burnley and I agree.

Looks to me on current form like Watford and West Ham are being drawn into the relegation mix.

Hull would probably need to win 4 of their 9 games remaining while Sunderland and Middlesbrough will probably need 5 wins out of 10. All of those scenarios seem unlikely given those teams form so far this season but we've seen Leicester and Sunderland do exactly that in the last few seasons so for me it's still too early to rule anybody out.

Yes you are right that's a large gap. I was letting their current form (3 back to back losses) colour my judgement.

Sunderland have failed to score in 6 of their last 7 games so it is difficult to see how they can survive on that form.

I think Sunderland and Boro will go down. I'd love it if 34 points will keep us up but it will be 37 more likely

You have to back Sunderland and Boro to go down. Then Hull next. If they revive, then any of the next five or six could be pulled into the mix - especially us.
