Give him a bit more time and Allardyce will sort him out.

Given the lack of effort, I would play Campbell - as least he puts in a shift. I know Remy won't be able to play against Chelsea, but anyone know if he could be back for the Arsenal game??

Sorry but your bonkers. Benteke is a handful for prem defences and is always marked closely. Whilst wrestling with 2 centre backs he can create space for others like he did v West Brom for Wilf and Townsend. He does put a shift in its just a different style to Campbells headless chicken approach.
I don't think Remy can play up top on his own.CB is the best lone striker we have by a country mile.

Sam has got our lads playing as a team. saw that CB did a lot of distraction work, keeping their number 4 occupied (and at times their number 5). He seems to be coming out of the Palace nightmare earlier this season - helping Wilf and Andross to score. As those two are identified as needing to be watched CB (and YC & JP & JS), will find their ways to goal. Should everything come together some five - nil results may come (Arsenal have recently had two of those losses).

Agree with this. I feel a bit for CB at the moment because he's not having much created for him and there's only so much a lone striker can do with a long ball when playing against 2 massive centre halves. He's low on confidence and needs a goal but he's class and I'd have him over Deeney (and definitely Campbell) any day.

Folk near me were complaining about him not challenging for every header, which is true, but some of them there's no one within 20 yards so there's nothing to gain in winning it anyway. When he could do something productive he'll put himself about and had some good flicks for Punch and Wilf yesterday. It's unfortunate he came with an inflated price tag which adds to expectations.

Benteke made two big mistakes in the second half. He took a wild shot when he should have put Wilf through. And when Wilf put him through he should have shot across Gomes into the far corner. Instead he wanted another touch and lost the ball. Afterwards he complained to Wilf he had put the ball in the wrong place. For a £32m player, these were shocking errors.

Vardy was smashing them in for fun last season and then the 1st half of this he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Managed to get a goal and is now starting to find the net more regularly. Benteke does so much more for us up top, his holdup play is very good generally, especially in tight places and is generally intelligent with his flicks to bring other into play. He's a class act that has struggled to really get going goal wise but he will. Swap him for Deeney? Not a chance.

Benteke all day long. This shouldn't even be an argument.

HaHa, Deeney.....Oh, boy, this makes me laugh.....
What a post! What a post!

Only by looking at Deeney you realize something is terribly off
And then, when you really study him and you see that most of his goals come from penalties and he basically doesn't press or recover at all, you basically know the only reason he plays is because fans want him to, not because he's quality.

Deeney scored for us yesterday and Benteke didn't, so it's obviously got to be Deeney

Benteke is a top quality player who’s struggling with confidence. Would be pretty stupid to write him off.

The goals will come and with an in-form Benteke, this run-in could be a lot more enjoyable than expected.

i'm assuming you mean as part of the terms of his loan agreement as with his injuries, there have been a lot of teams he's been unable to play against.
