Not playing like we did today. I thought we looked a bit off the pace compared to the 2 previous performances. We were fortunate to get the points today in a poor game where both sides seemed to cancel each other out and with few chances at either end it was mostly head tennis in the middle. Chelsea are far better equipped to get the ball down and play through and round us.

I think the form for the last 6 games says it all. We are in the top 5 for a reason. The things we are doing right it commitment, dedication, energy, and playing your the badge. I honestly think we will give Chelsea a good game. Yes we may loose 1-0 or 2-0 but frustrate them and we never know what may happen. Attachment: form.png (38.84Kb)

That form table is out of date as it has us with 2 wins in 6 when it's actually 3 in 3! I agree that we will give Chelsea a good go; we tend to play up to our opponent (and down to them too, like today). Expect a loss, and anything else is jam.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Read it again, its form over 6 games, we have 4 wins and 12 points. Regardless, I cannot seeing us getting a point off Chelsea.

Thankfully we have started to win the winable games. I can't see us getting anything at Chelsea away. Would love to be proved wrong though.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Never say never, as we should all come to expect of Palace by now. It'll be tough, theres no doubt. We need to go there with the intention of keeping a clean sheet, and protect our goal at all costs. Thats no mean feat this season though. Looking at Chelsea's home results, the only away team to keep a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge recently has been Man City. So I can understand why there are a lot of 'No's' on this thread. We all know the palace rollercoaster never fails to deliver, so I kinda see us upsetting them with a sneaky goal. Its just what our season has been missing so far.

With our confidence on the up again, could we possibly sneak a point at Chelsea ? Costa was the difference last time, but we have Sakho in there now to mark him. My real concern would be Hazard up against Ward. Zaha up again Moses will be very interesting. I'm pleased to say that it looks like Hazard will miss this game, apparently he's out for 15 days so even if he is borderline, cant see them risking him against us. I don't know why but I can see us getting a point here - probably just over excited because of our upturn in results but I've predicted wins in the last 3 and not been disappointed yet!

Doubtful. Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Spurs and Utd slip up more often - we might get 4 points or more from these difficult games. We never get anything against Arsenal though ...
