It's cheap, we're only using it for somewhere to sleep as we get there late Friday night, out first thing Saturday morning then back early hours Sunday morning. The reviews of the refurbished rooms are good which is why I paid a few extra quid. As someone said, you pay for what you get.

Good luck mate I'd strongly advise to not leave anything remotely of value in your room when you go out
walking down the holmesdale road to see the palace aces! |

Your misses will not feel safe, spend as little time there as possible. In fact cancel and book a premier inn.

Went passed there today bout 12.30ish, coach in car park & shed loads of police/immigration men/youths running all over the place. To the OP......CANCEL
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Honestly SE. I've heard some terrible things about that hotel. Spend a few quid more and book somewhere else.

I have had the privilege over the last 16 years of visiting this hotel on many many occasions in my capacity as Plod. Cucking was right, it is indeed a dumping ground for immigrants, down and outs, homeless single mothers, scumbags on tag and all sorts really. As someone else said.. if you go out I really would not leave anything of value in your room... And the security guards in stabproof vests is not a myth!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I agree with keeping a distance, especially not sharing living quarters, from people who are desperate, in limbo and sometimes from places where life is cheap, that is until they have something to lose. I.e - their right to stay in Britain following crime. But to call them 'scum'. A bit low. I voted leave and want us to decide on who, what and when, but to call them scum. I'd question it being out of control elsewhere, not on the individuals. Most will be pleasant and grateful to be here. One of them staying there might be delivering your Amazon parcel quite soon. I wouldn't stay there though. A door can be easily kicked in and all your stuff gone. To save £30?
