He'd have walked by now, if true, knowing that his old club would take him back and that player power would ensure that he could end up back there, without too much grief.

The fact this item looks even vaguely credible is a function of fairly despicable behaviour earlier this season with public pronouncements about going back to Marseille. How much money have we paid this guy and he can't even show us the slightest respect by not mentioning his ex at every turn.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Hasn't worked out for him here, shame. Let him go and replace with an upgrade. Goalkeeper is definitely a critical position which needs fixing in our squad, urgently. First priority in the Summer IMHO.

Another wonderful Pardew signing. Up there with McCarthy, Adebayor, Sanogo, Lee, Mutch, Wickham.

He's denied the story on his Facebook page. He says something along the lines of 'I don't usually respond to media speculation but I am this time, they seem to know more than me, he's focused on keeping Palace up'. If he does end up going, at least he didn't cost that much (or cost that Mutch...now that was a mistake).

Quite, whilst signing a new contract doesn't necessarily mean you won't move on, it does make it less likely for a club to come in for you, and tends to raise the price.

Another wonderful Pardew signing. Up there with McCarthy, Adebayor, Sanogo, Lee, Mutch, Wickham. Bit harsh on Wickham, who was very good when fit, and Lee, who was really signed as a squad back up. Sanogo was definitely s**t though fortunately a loan signing, Adebayor was just odd (but short term) and McCarthy was just plain pointless. What concerns me with some of the Pardew signings, is that it seems like he never saw them play. Mutch was good enough when he was at Cardiff, but its pretty clear that his time at QPR really reduced his ability and skill level. Adebayor was unfit, Sanogo wasn't Premiership material and McCarthy was worse than our back up keeper.

Get over it mate, he's gone, stop sounding like a bitter ex and man up. Everyone thought Mandanda was a quality signing, sometimes things don't work out. I expect all of us have left a job quickly after realising it's not where you want to be.

"As you know I rarely take the floor in the media, but I confess that I am surprised by what I read yesterday on footmercato. Indeed, the latter has revealed that a memorandum of agreement was concluded between the olympique de Marseille and myself for a return this summer. Even if he does want to go back, at least he seems to want things to be kept quiet.
