Back in my drinking days, I was in the Pig N Whistle on 47th St ( which has now gone) when In a already packed bar the seat next to me became available & this guy asked if he could sit there? "Be my guest" I said. I asked him if he was on holiday? No not really he said, he was over to do a quick job which he had just finished & was flying back home the same afternoon.
He was some type of IT whizz & his company had flown over on Concorde & was fling him back the same day on Concorde as well !!
Imagine how much that must of cost. I normally roll my eyes at BS in a bar, but the guy showed me the tickets.

I run an IT business with a substantial 8 figure turnover operating for the last 22 years. Everyone in the company flies in economy, even me, even long haul.

Maybe tender for this guys business then? Like I said I've spent most of my adult life around bars & can spot one a mile off. On this occasion I think this guy was on the up.

Actually, it was as the EU that forced the wireless phone operators to get rid of their rip-off roaming fees. Now we can make very cheap calls and access data using mobile phones across all 28 EU countries. UK citizens will of course will lose that benefit when they leave the EU. When on business it makes a massive difference

I run a business and always get my staff Business class flights. They appreciate it and work hard for me and i offset the cost through my accounts.
Treat your staff well and they remain loyal, Treat them like dogs and they might bite you.

When travelling I make sure that I'm not flying with BA.

If going trans-atlantic with it would be Virgin Atlantic every time.

No problem with my staff at all. The huge amounts we save by always buying the lowest price airline tickets is used as real cash bonuses for the employees. They much prefer that as they can then spend it how they wish. We've never had a complaint from anyone about this policy. We also never employ anyone that wants business class flights for international flights when we head hunt our staff.

I have been a great supporter of BA over the years.

After a 14hour flight with them from Buenos Aires to London, I will now avoid them at all costs. The BA stewards/staff are suffering from such long flights and bad working conditions and their lack of interest is passed on to their customers.

Another recent flight to Europe was worse than easyJet or RyanAir. BA a national airline - I don't think they deserve that accolade.

I've been told that Emirates is now the best on long-haul so given the chance in future that might be an option.

spot b0iiock. ^^^

The fiasco of their pricing gives you an indication of the level of service to expect on their flights.

Farcical company

I fly quite regularly to Europe with Ryanair and Easyjet and must admit that I don't find anything wrong with either of them. What is it that you don't like about them?
