As I am cerebrally challenged , I'm afraid I don't have an array of grandiose words in my vocabulary.

And as has been pointed out many times you are a gross miss user of quotation marke

I never 'threatened' brilliance in any subject at school as can be demonstrated by my failings on HOL.

'Whilst' you have been accused of being 'many' things on HOL I have never actually believed you to be a troll but as 'you have' had your misuse of quotation marks 'pointed' out by several people you continue to do it so now I am 'coming' round to your accusers way of thinking

Don't get so hung up about Willo's quotation marks that you "forget" all about apostrophes!

With respect, I totally refute the accusation that I am a 'Troll'.I might be not cerebrally blessed and a recalcitrant 'Oldish' duffer but a troll I am certainly NOT.

Regards my "Misuse of quotation" marks and the umpteen lessons I have supposed to have had on HOL, at the end of the day my style of writing is clearly ingrained and to be totally honest I don't think about all the protestations and advice when I am in full flow on here.

At the end of the day maybe, just maybe, content is more important than presentation but clearly the consensus seems to be that I fall down on both scores.

Yes.

Funny how Trolley on the BBS had the same issue until they kicked him out for being a troll.

I find Willo one of the more entertaining people on here. I sincerely hope that most of his posts are intended to wind people up, because if they are then he has to be one of the most successful wind up merchants (I'm not going to use the word 'troll' because I think that is unfair and incorrect) I have ever seen on the internet.

Good work 'Willo'.

You seem to know a lot more about 'Trolley' than I do.

Check out the "Willo is Trolley" thread [Link] which shows a number of quotes from Trolley on the BBS with the same improper use of quotation marks

In fact, this forum is rather like a good sitcom. Lots of clearly defined characters that largely stay true to form in every scenario. Lots of catch phrase writing styles, people you love, people you love not so much. Definitely better than Friends.

Thank you for your kind sentiments.

If I am a "Wind up merchant", I can assure you it is due to accident rather than design. It's not in my nature to purposely be provocative in order to trigger a reaction.

Outside of HOL, I do get involved with contretemps but I certainly don't seek to be an 'Agent provocateur'. My wife often has a moan at me for getting involved in unnecessary arguments but I wouldn't say that I am constantly in the eye of any storm nor a provocative stimulis in any shape or form.Just a miserable git sometimes !!!!

Anyway, what the hell has this got to do with the subject matter ? Let's get back on track rather than turn this into yet another wearisome WILLO thread.

In a way I am disappointed. "Wind Up Merchant" is a compliment in my books. I am constantly on the wind up (although some people use a four letter acronym for it and I'm not sure what it stands for).

I still think you are though, but that's not an anti-Willo comment I can assure you!
