Both red card offences. Both should have been sent off. Both will rightly get retrospective bans.

Which is worse? Ibra looks more deliberate. He says that Mings jumped into his arm and there is it would appear no attempt to look around and check if Mings is there, but the arm definitely swings and more than seems necessary. But potentially Mings is more dangerous. He is certainly less in control of the outcome and the damage he will do.

There may well be no attempt to look around, but where else was Mings going to be? Ibra knew he was marking him. Ibra bang to rights.

And as someone previously said Rooney should have a charge for his outrageous comment that he saw the stamp, when he was looking the other way! Rooney is a cheat and has got away with it for years because of who he is and who he plays for.

Mings i think was deliberate but far more difficult to prove imo.

On Rooney I would reserve judgement. I have seen the pic in question, but would want to actually watch the footage again before deciding. That split second might tell a different story to another one. One image doesn't necessarily tell the whole story.

On Ibra, I don't quite agree. As I said it does look like a deliberate attempt. But the fact he doesn't look round means he doesn't know where/if he will connect. Mings could be the other side of him, directly behind him etc so his elbow won't connect. But he certainly seems to move his arm for more than just elevation.

That doesn't really make sense. Ming's foot was in contact for a fraction of a second, there is no way Rooney could have turned around and seen it. He may have turned around and seen Ibra clutching his head. But he did not see it.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

I'm not saying he hasn't lied. Just that I didn't look at whether Rooney was looking at the incident when I saw it. I'd rather look at it myself rather than believe a picture doing the rounds on the internet.

--edit--
Have just looked at the Sky Sports video and he is a lying little toerag

From that video, no way Rooney saw anything live (he may have after the match). Hang him.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I think there is some argument for Ming's being accidental, he was caught by Rooney whilst trying to get back in the game, and there could be benefit of the doubt about whether it was intentional.

Ibrahothick though was simply deliberate. Also should be booked for simulation after than shove, he went down easier than Snodgrass.

Both should get the same duration ban. Also Man Utd should be deducted 20 points.

Think Mings played a blinder. Good old-fashioned dirty play from a youngster, standing up to the colossal ego that is 'Zlatan'.

Mings been given 5 game ban which seems disproportionate to the Zlatan one.

Ridiculous!!! 5 matches for that. It can't even be proven to be done with malice lol.

Ibra thought he was in the UFC with his. Evident he did it to hurt him.

But then Ibra has to be on TV more to sell the brand.
