If we stay up surely we want them in the mix ? Proper old ding dong. FFS returning, Wilf tearing them up, all the old rivalry. Bring it on.

As long as we stay up then yeah, you're probably right. But that won't stop me laughing my head off if they spunk it up the wall again. Especially as their chairman (or some bloke associated with the club) has said they're in a bit of financial sh*t if they don't do it this year.

Why do people want them to come up? No way. I do not wish an ounce of success on that club. I hope they f*** it up again and rot in the usual mediocrity they have always been used to. Absolute joke of a club.

I'm on the train from Birmingham. How did Brighton get on? Against Forest I assume they one?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

They do seem to be making hard work of it yet again. I would love to see them finish in the play offs and lose as they usually do.

I don't ever post on North Stand Chat but I do have a quick browse on their once a month. They genuinely are a deluded bunch who seem a bit obsessed with us.

At the end of the transfer window, one of them proclaimed they had had the last laugh regarding Murray (He cost us nothing and scored s*** loads at his peak for us so I can't quite work out how either!!)

The same guy then said that Murray was better than Benteke and he would rather have Murray over Benteke.....

I seriously considered calling social services to assist in getting this bloke sectioned!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Don't bother. They'll all be calling the Samaritans themselves soon enough.

I know you weren't serious but...

Pickles found the World Cup there.

Raymond Chandler lived on my old road (Auckland Rd) which I've always found amazing.

Emile Zola lived in Upper Norwood (I think he wrote J'accuse there, not hundred percent on that though)

DH Lawrence taught in Davidson School.

Stormzy went to Harris School. And Captain Sensible went there hen it was Stanley. I think all The Damned were from around here, Rat Scabies cleaned the toilets at Fairfield Halls and I used to see Vanian driving around in a hearse.

Arthur Conan Doyle lived there.

William Stanley (of Stanley knife fame) lived there.

Elgar lived there.

The Captain of the HMS Beagle lived there (buried at All Saints church)

Ariwa Studios, just down from Selhurst Park is one of the best and most famous dub reggae studios in the world (I'm presuming its still there)

More reggae, Lee Perry said his favourite Jamaican bakery was on Thornton Heath high street.

Paul Simenon (the Clash) born in Tornton Heat. The other bloke in T Rex too.

I could go on, there's loads more but I'd have to start googling.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

A Pebble beach......! Who the F**K wants to go to a pebble beach.....?!
Mind you, Fat Boy Slim once did a good free gig on that beach.

Now I'm really stuck for useless information regarding the area... Served by the M23 - the road to nowhere? :/

The World Cup was found in SE19.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
