FYI It seems that the club won't be issuing new ST cards to renewing ST holders. They'll just be made valid on their system. Seems like a reasonable cost-saving idea yet pales when compared to Sakho's loan fee, Cab's wages, Mutch etc. Genuinely not moaning but cannot recall ever feeling so dumbed down by the club.

I got told the same that the club won't be issuing new ST cards to renewing ST holders when renewing the other day & it was fairly busy as well.

I visited SP earlier this week and found out about this re-validating of previously issued cards. It appears that other clubs have lead the way. Should you lose your 2016/2017 chip card you will need to buy a new card from the box office. If the card wears out (as the box office understands they do) it will be replaced. Should you want a new card (and perhaps a new wallet to keep it readily identifiable) you just need to move seats - which could be by arrangement with fellow supporters (three or more people keeping the same seats for their group but with different bums on seats). The brochure I haven't received. The only communication I've received from the club is today's email. Get your point although their marketing ploy is still the same and very clever. Slightly different to normal because of the waiting listers this time possibly more tempted into nabbing those available seats. Its on the main site Tickets Online.

Four more games and a revived exciting, hopefully, squad. Anyone ever expecting to challenge the top six was daft. We can however know we can beat anyone in the Championship home or away. With that sort of positivity how can we fail.

Given the amount of plastic produced and then thrown away worldwide it seems like a very good idea to me. Every organisation and individual should be doing more to reduce plastic consumption and minimise their impact on the environment. No reason they couldn't use NFC technology and just have cards on our phones. One day we might have them as microchips installed in our arms.

After umming and ahhing as my son works shifts and is going travelling I have just renewed. Bit miffed at a £15 CC surcharge seems a tad extortionate

Am sure the club Thought long and hard about the environment when making the decision. Had nothing to do with the costs of having them printed and posted out to everyone. Same consideration must have been foggotton when putting up the cladding on the mainstand and all the lovely new seats and advertising hordings around the ground and can forget all the plastic fans that arrived in the last few seasons polluting our stadium.
