Done all ask of him on Saturday. It's time fans get behind him as Steve keeps saying his homesick. If we have the protection of Sakho and luka. Hennessy can improve, yes his made a few errors this season but like speroni under pulis if the goalie protected by a defensive structure. They can thrive and keep clean sheets. Fans are quick to critize Hennessy a lot is warranted but now he has a defender that a 18 m player. He had nothing to do on Saturday.

Against Liverpool Mandanda had a header straight at him and he palmed it into the roof of the net. On Saturday Hennessey had a full bloodied shot from about six yards straight at him and he kept it out with strong hands. I would rather have goalkeeper who wants to play for us than someone dreaming of the South of France all the time especially as he is no better than Hennessy.

We should get behind him for the rest of the season, because he's going to be our keeper until the summer. But we desperately need to replace him in the next transfer window. Exactly. Like or not Hennessy been available all season. Speroni finished unfortunately. Hennessy will be the gk to the end of the season. We need a new keeper like begovic but this agenda against Hennessy is stupid. He plays in goal for us. Time to back him.

I don't rate any of our goalie as a prem standard but Hennessy will be our goalie until the end of the season at the very least.

You cannot write off his ability on the basis of not seeing him. Again, where is the proof of Steve crying wolf and asking to go back to France. The guy has been out injured after surgery. He has expressed affection for Marseilles but then he played there for many years. If someone interviewed Clyne and asked him how he felt about CPFC I imagine he would reply in a similar manner but it wouldn't mean he was homesick for South London and angling for a move back (more's the pity). In contrast Hennessy has proved consistently that he is not a Prem goalie with basic handling errors that have cost us points on many occasions. He is capable of great reaction saves but his positioning and handling are sometimes of non-league levels

When did WH last make basic handling errors that cost us points? Yes, last season he made the awful error at Villa and a similar one at home to the Clowns in the Cup. This season you can only really blame him for the Chelsea goal, and that was bad positioning not handling. Anyway, he will be in goal until the end of the season, barring injuries, so I suggest all the Speroni-lovers/Wh-haters get behind him. In the summer we can get rid of all 3 keepers and start afresh.

With regards to WH, I think he will be our keeper until the end of the season. He is out of contract I believe as well so not to sure what the best way forward is, as good as I think Mandanda would be for us, he just doesn't stay fit. I would offer him a one-year deal, reduced wage and as a back up option. Since Jules has lost his place the No.1 spot has been troublesome for us.

Initially yes a few of us were agrieved that Wayne was playing ahead of a better goalie in Jules. Now most are just agrieved that he is s*** but is still in goal.
