We had a terrific and much needed win today and people are still moaning about refereeing decisions as if they cost us points !!!!

The important thing was the win, NOT referee's decisions for goodness sake !

Going out now to celebrate a wonderful 3 points !!!!

Since, so often these days, the poor standard of refereeing is responsible, directly or indirectly, for a 'different' result to that which it would almost certainly have been, you cannot blame people for moaning. Fortunately in this match the outcome was only affected by the number of goals that could have improved our differential, but on any other day it could all have been so different.

Didn't know what to give on two corners one each way and took 20 seconds before giving a biro free kick. What made his mind up in those seconds. Cabaye gets booked coz someone falls over and a biro player gets booked for an atrocious foul on Townsend. Clearly Zaha had to be nearly maimed before getting a free kick. I hope there isn't a secret PL campaign against him. Totally awful ref but the linesman is also there to determine things other than throw ins! In all honesty I thought it was one pen each team at the Holmesdale End.

We don't usually win when we get a ref as appalling as this one. Things must be looking up!

He was shocking. Two handed push on Wilf in first few minutes was blatant as well.

Wilf doesn't help himself at times but seriously think the prem refs have a bit of thing about him

The referee's performance was indefensible. People are right to comment when it could easily have cost us. I'm delighted with the win and definitely not moaning.

He should be kept off games where the result is significant as he clearly hasn't got the "bottle" to make big calls.

If bent, he could have given Boro a 1st half pen.

But he bottled every big decision, most of which would have been in our favour.

Utter hogwash, that referee did his very best to make us lose the game, how were the fouls on wilf (both of them) not given>?? Because referees have an agenda against him he would need to be shot or murdered to get a pen these days, and even then todays bent idiot would probably have booked him for diving

This is a serious accusation casting aspersions as to his honesty and integrity and I do NOT share this viewpoint.

Besides, surely one can argue a point without using words such as "Idiot" !!!! Let's not get into the realms of personal slurs.Thank You.
