Luka for me was by far the most impressive player on the park. Broke up play read the game really well, made the game look simple and allowed others around him to take of the shakels and play. Considering he has only been with us for a short period of time I also noticed him directing others around him. Surely a good shout for a future captain. If only this position had not been so poorly ignored by Pardew at the start of the season we would surley be in a much healthier position. Great signing.

Tackle after tackle after tackle after tackle. Perfectly placed passed across the midfield and to OUR players on the edge of the box. To feet, easy to control. What a buy I think he is going to be. Better stay in this league to keep him or they'll be circling to sign him off us asap. Just imagine thos g1mps down South taking any players we'd prefer to keep here.

There was a point in the match when Luka was in an advanced position and we lost the ball in the midfield. Instead of challenging for the ball he raced back to his position in time to make a timely interception. In just two games he has for me shown great maturity and looks solid as a rock. Great player and definitely motm today.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

For me this guy and Sakho could just turn the corner for us. Not getting carried away but Luka looked good 2 weeks ago as well.
