Feel they have shot themselves in the foot,Ranieri did them proud, worst thing they did was sell Kante to Chelski that wrecked the midfield partnership with Mahrez, those two supplied the ammo for Vardy last season.
Bl**dy hell if AP gets the job what will be the reaction when Leicester come to Selhurst on 15th April.

Would.be electric

Academic for us unless our newish manager gets a response from our team. Clearly their owners are desperate to stay in the PL and have thrown the dice very late, hoping for a response from the new manager.

You must be joking.

They will now probably get a lift with a new manager.

More than we got with our new manager

Can't see the players reacting positively to sacking him.

Other than Pardew or Mancini I can't think of anyone available. Plus, it will be a poisoned chalice for whoever takes it.

Terrible decision by Leicester.

it seems ranieri lost the dressing room. shame he has gone. These talented players may find their mojo again. In which case we are in deep doo doo.

Which talented players?

They have Morgan and Huth at the back.

Vardy a one season wonder.

Mahrez been found out.

What talented players?

I think Kasper Schmeichel showed more than a glimpse of his obvious talents.

Without him Leicester City would have been beaten out of sight last night. If he fancies a new club next season lets get him in (he doesn't look as though he's pining for moving to another country either)!

A sad day for the premiership and football as a whole and a good example of how money has ruined the game

A club so desperate to stay in the premiership they would sack the boss while the title is still gleaming in the trophy cabinet and still in the champions league.

The most successful season in your history doesn't even buy you one season anymore, they're not even in the bottom 3 !!

Its a strange decision to say the least . They found a formula last season that saw average players perform together as a very good team . They found themselves on a crest of a wave and stayed there .
Maybe the management focused too much on the Champions league ,they won their group and are/were looking an even bet to progress . The fairy tale could have continued .

Regardless of our predicament I hope they get relegated .The madness of foreign owners strikes again

Hmmm....much as I like Ranieri as a character, I've long thought that he didn't really know the reasons behind his success last season any more than he knows the reasons behind this years failures.

Last season Leicester had few injuries or suspensions. They had players performing at previously unheard of levels.

Not surprisingly it wasn't sustainable.

Whenever I've seen them play this season they actually remind me of Palace.....

Maybe they'll bring back Nigel Pearson - he had an amazing end of season 2014/15.

And he seems a really stable guy...

Football is just a sick joke these days and we are the mugs who make up its audience.

Every single Leicester fan would have taken relegation with Ranieri this season if they were told 18 months ago that that would be the cost for them if they were to win The Prem and have a major chance to get to the q/finals of The Champions League.

What genuine football fan of one of the less big clubs wouldn't?
