Is he playing well for them ? If he is looking good at that level then we may wish to hold on until the summer.

I have no idea how he has been playing for them.

All I know is that he started in his 1st game and scored in the 2-2 away draw at Ipswich.
Wasn't included in the squad in the next game, home to Barnsley (Don't know reason), but started in the 3-2 home win against Brentford on Saturday.
He has started in tonight's away game at Huddersfield.

Clearly found his right level, playing in the Championship and if he does well for Reading, he could be needed to do a job for us next season if all the pundits, other than Paul Merson, are proved right, and we go down with Hull and Sunderland.

Mutchy and I have a great deal in common, he wants to stay at Reading at the end of his loan period, and I also want him to stay at Reading at the end of his loan period.

Biggest waste of space in all my many years of watching the Palace.

He played in the PL for Birmingham,Cardiff and QPR before he signed for us.Think he played quite a few PL games for Cardiff and I think scored for them so he has played at the top-level.

He can't be as keen on the mocve to Reading as I am - thanks very much but let him stay there!

If he does well for Reading and we are relegated (God forbid), the manager might view him in a different light.

Having been very much on the sidelines for us, it must be like a 'breath of fresh air' for Mutch to be playing in the first team in a modern stadium so I can understand the positive comments he has made about tenureship at the 'Royals'.

Reports suggest that he is over the moon with his move to the Royals, loves working with Stam and would like a move on a permanent basis.
In the unlikely event that we are relegated, would we want him back in our squad to prepare for life in the Championship ??

It's surprising. I would have expected him to say that he finds the move degrading and hates working with Stam.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

To be fair though, at least he hasn't been in the team mutch! we've had a few donkeys over the years that have actually racked up quite a few appearances!!!
Painter seems to have started the list above

It's up to the manager/ coaches to get the best out of a player. Unfortunately, that has not been the case with JM. No one has been able to unlock his potential. As a result, we haven't seen his inner Messi/ Iniesta.
