I like Warnock. I love that good old fashioned yorkshire spirit. I think he's great. He's very honest too. Is he good enough for the Premier? I don't know, that's beyond my understanding of the game. What's the difference between a Premiership and a Championship manager? I'm guessing: Edited by OhthisbloodyPC (19 Feb 2017 10.27am)

Warnock deserves some credit for at least keeping us afloat when he came in. We never got cut adrift and the performances weren't terrible except for the Southampton game - we just couldn't score.

I rated him in his first stint but he was shown up for the championship level manager he was in his second stint.

He was taking us down. You don't get credit for only relegating someone by a close margin. I had a lot of time for Warnock in his first spell here, but he was woefully out of his depth second time round.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

I like the bloke to be honest, he performed miracles here first time around and even second time around, he jumped in with no pre-season and steadied the ship under difficult circumstances. Although struggling, we weren't cut adrift when he left, yes it proved the right decision to let him go, but in my opinion he gave us a chance of staying up, he got the chop with 19 points at Xmas and we've only got 19 now in mid-Feb!!

What we shouldn't forget is that he has 7 promotions to his name. Maybe next season he will make it 8.

Can't help but like the guy, but he's not a Prem manager. He's even said that himself.

He admitted himself he was way out of his depth the second time he managed us. Premier League was way different to where we re before when he managed us. I respect him for admitting that and wish him well.

Great championship manager, no doubt there, he is the Tony Pulis of that league, and then some - What he achieved with the squad when he came in after Peter Taylor was nothing short of staggering - when you consider the finances, and players. If not for the administration, and the loss of Moses and Fonte, he might well have gotten us to the play offs or top ten that season.

There was the scunthorpe game. But then he also signed Darren Ambrose on a free, who scored 20 goals that season, and ten in the following two. What he did with next to nothing, for us, was staggering. Take the 10pt deduction out of the equation and we'd have finished 11th. But we were 9th when we went into administration. I genuinely thought, but for the administration, we might have nicked a play off place. And we had some proper bad players....

Apart from the striker choices in Alan Lee and Calvin Andrew we had a decent side before Fonte and then Moses left. We also had Ambrose and Danns. Could've done with another Scott Sinclair probably. Possibly an injury here and there would halted those winning runs which seemed to go on for weeks. Can't take it away from Warnock then though. Made the most of what we had. Unfortunately losing Fonte and then Moses and 10 points and any hope of the play offs really damaged morale. Midweek results at home were awful.
