Good article.

Shocking what went on before, considering we're playing in the fastest, most physical, and most relentless in terms of goal attacks, league in the world.

Didn't Hennessey say a couple of weeks ago that at the turn of the year he was a stone overweight. How was that allowed to happen ? I thought all players body weight was constantly monitored.

He's certainly better for the weight loss, in fact they all look sharper.

Training, eh? For a sport. Whodathunkit?

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

I have felt for the last year or so that the fitness of the players is not up to premiership standard. 75-80 minutes a match is all we seem to be able to muster.
Now that Sammy Lee has had them for over a month I think we will start to see an increase in their conditioning. I expect to see the first real signs of this new regime in the next matches. If the fitness levels are upped I have no doubt that results will follow. If they gain the energy I know they have the skill to get the job done.

I think we have already seen the increase in fitness. That is a big part of why we are playing better these days.

Stealing their women and eating their food since 1987.

They'd like you to believe that there are exercise regimes and technologies available to the staff and players that bring their fitness up to standard, but really Big Sam just absorbs everyone's fat!

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.
