The day we let Tony Pulis walk out of the club.

You've got that wrong.
He tried to take Parish for a soft touch and came off second best.

This is true but you don't know what led to it regarding transfers.

Parish likes those under 25 with resale value. Many prem managers don't. We'd all love to know what happened but never will unless a Pulis book comes out and he might be censored anyway.

Wasn't Pulis at the World Cup supposedly scouting but appearing on tv for extra pocket money?

I feel when we bought cabaye, yes we had a good period of form until Christmas. With Pardew making comments like 'don't knock on my down and ask for cabaye wages'. This has left a divide, along with losing the best captain we've ever had. Also not strengthening forward line in Jan 2016. Instead we signed a unfit and uninterested adebayor or on super high wages

Dec 2015. We just beat Soton 1-0 and Pardew said on live TV. "My players ask why Cabaye is on such high wages and i tell them because your'e not as good as he is" Team spirit in tatters from that moment

Exactly what I thought. Also wasn't this the day pardew went to the pub with the ultras

Look at that table next to that story! 3 points off Man Utd in 4th.

Obviously at the time no one thought this would happen but also 6 points off eventual winners Leicester!

That was the season Palace could have done the impossible. Instead, our manager got arrogant and we let Leicester have the incredible story.

Yep. I believe you're right.
I'll never forgive him for walking out 2 days before the start of the season. And it's not like he hasn't been involved in financial controversy before.
Ask Gillingham.

Touting himself for the Chelsea and England jobs. Then after Sam gets the England job he alters it to a not yet type of answer.

Jut remembered this game. Hennessey's save at the end cost me £6k on a both teams to score bet. Probably his last good game

Back to the thread, I'd say the cup win at Tottenham. On the way to Wembley and pardew keeps his job. It's a cliché but the league is our bread and butter. Parish should have stopped the rot far earlier. The f.a.cup clouded his judgement. Hope it doesn't turn into the most expensive mistake he's ever made.

Those huge wages the HF find abhorrent yet had 1 song for him and then another, but you'll rarely hear them again.
