Didn't he support as a youngster (watch on tv) Arsenal?

If so he won't be able to walk about outside the emirates or watch away from the corporate area when he retires if he plays for Spurs.

Looks like he'll be gone. Best situation would be for Wilf to hit form and lift the team, saving us from relegation and pushing the fee Spurs have to pay for him to beyond £25m.

Good luck to him whether he stays or goes.
A Palace legend.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

Whether we stay up or go down, Wilf is going in the summer. He's shown a more consistent end product this season than Bolasie ever did, and he's younger, so hopefully we can get £30 million+. I'm going to be absolutely gutted to see him go, though, especially as we no longer have Bolasie to entertain us either.

If Spurs want him badly enough they will have to pay whatever fee Steve Parish deems appropriate and hopefully he will add another £5m for this continual process of trying to unsettle Zaha

Wilf needs to stop getting the strops or he will never go to the next level. Good players get fouled good players who let it affect them get fouled more. Wilf has been great for us it will be sad if he goes on the back of a relegation.

If I was Wilf I would be more upset with the crap service and delivery I am getting lately from my team mates rather than any of the fouling from the opposition!

Anything over £20 mill would be fantastic.

Looks good for us as we don't have a great squad.

Done f*** all at AFCON and is not consistent enough for us.

Don't need excuses like he's always got 3/4 players on him either, if he wasn't a Palace player then he wouldn't get bigged up as much as he does now.

Good for us and would be good for a mid/bottom half team but not Spurs. Not sure why they want him.

Agree with the above.

Cant see where he would fit into the Spurs system. They play without wingers using their full backs for width. As with Yannick we as fans forgive him for every bad cross or pass but a new clubs fans would not be so patient with him. Yannick was starting to get pelters from the Everton fans before he got injured

That's a bit of an indictment of our fans if we are willing to accept the kind of poor passing and crossing that other clubs would complain about.

Bolasie was losing the Everton fans because they thought he wasn't good enough for them and certainly not worth what they paid for him much as our fans are complaining about Benteke not being worth what we paid.

Surely "service and delivery" is his job to provide, is it not?

Parish will not take less than what we got for Bolasie unless there is a clause we don't know about in his contract. I don't think Spurs will pay £25 million+ for him as they have the pull to get a top-notch foreign winger for less. In my mind, given today's market prices, his age and his value to the team we shouldn't even blink for anything less than £35 million (I wouldn't sell him at all though).

I love Wilf but unless we get relegated I just can't see anyone offering a price Parish would accept.

Great post, totally agree. Also, I am kind of hoping that BFS wil get the best out of Zaha, as he seems to be out of Townsend. If we escape the drop, and he is well coached and supported at Palace, maybe he might just stay at Palace. He knows its a good environment for him, and he has been burned before by being thrown into another club, where he might just end up being on the bench rather than a regular starter.
