Me thinks the OP sells scarves in Holmesdale Road.

He's either the half and half scarf seller by The Clifton or the the West Indian lady near Norwood Junction selling the home knits. Always feel a bit sorry for her thinking she sells about 3 a season.

Saw a Palace fan give her a box wrapped Christmas present. Put a smile on my face before the fortnight oh selhurst humiliation.

What are your views on gloves and socks, bubble?

No gloves,no socks and definatly no bobble hats. Why i am at no replicar ahirts either. To go to Palace you should either be dressed to look hard or dressed all in black if in the little boys brigade.

I'm not a scarfer. Never have been.
Only time I wear colours is when we play Brighton or Millwall.
Or when we're in a play off/semi and/or final/cup final.

I've been to the old and new den.
The Goldstone, Withdean and that new monstrosity.
I didn't cry though...oh hang on...yes I did.
I didn't wet myself at the old den though.
No siree...

Any risk that the players might start singing: "You're not fit to wear the scarf!"

Personally, I back the team whatever . . . Even if they're losing 50-0 in the first ten minutes.

I thought everyone went way over the top in slagging off the players after the S'land defeat.

Four errors were all punished. How flukey is that?

Meanwhile, their goal was charmed, so we scored none.

As someone said, results often hinge on a) luck b) fine margins and c) refereeing decisions.

If the match were to be played again, the scoreline would probably be the other way round.

Yes five shots 4 goals and I still think the first goal would have been disallowed had we complained!!.
Its was horrible match, Liverpool 9 Palace 0, Liverpool had ten shots and one penalty (scored), Palace had penalty (missed by who!)
B;oody refs!!

Remember when twirling scarves was a thing. Glorious, it was, and the atmosphere (particularly remember this at Anfield) seemed to build up off the back of it.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Remember a season around 2007 ish when there would be some music played at half time & people started swirling scarves around.
Can't remember why it started but do recall my nephew knocking someone's hot chocolate all over them!
