I am no longer up to speed on such things but certainly in the past it was necessary to leave the UK and go back to your home country to obtain your final visa confirmation from an embassy.

Two more weeks I reckon and another example of it being a panic buy otherwise we would have had it sorted beforehand. Palace management at their best!!!
