Agreed.
Delighted when we got him. It'll be like a new signing when he's fit.

Still young and will hopefully get over the injuries .Gets better the more he plays so am optimistic in two years time we will have a 25 year old that wont be subject to 'shall we get rid of him' threads but ones that plead with him to stay .

Oozes quality IMO and still only 23. Would love to see him when we have a team that’s full of confidence. Since we signed him last January the whole squad has been pretty dire – with the exception of 2 or 3 players so he should not be singled out. If anything, he’s been great on the rare occasion the team played well and he was playing. It hasn’t be easy for him joining a team in freefall and suffering from long injuries so I don’t believe he’s had a real opportunity to shine.

Cracking option for us next season … whether it be the Prem or the Championship!

he's got a ceiling but solid player. too young to write off. it's a gamble as if he keeps with the injuries, then he's not worth much. but if he can keep it together, you have a value commodity in a year or two. reward > risk as of today.

Great hold up play, good passer, good in the air, great shot on him, fast, hungry, always injured ?

If someone can fix his injury proneness, he will bang in 15-20/year.

great player his injuries stem from a history of a poor training regime, players that are not fully fit are much more prone to injuries .i was ashamed of being a palace supporter having to witness some of the abuse he has received from a small section of our so called supporters, hopefully will come better than ever ,like ian wright did from two broken legs ,connor wickham great player a real talent

I think he is a good quality Premier League player - just a shame he has had those injuries that have hampered his progress. On the ground I think he is better than Benteke at holding the ball and laying it off accurately ( not to mention putting it in the net).

If the worst happens this season (which I'm fairly sure it wont - fingers crossed!) Connor will be exactly what we will need next season.

I rate him, it's just the injuries..

When he's fit, he will be like a new signing and he is still young. Plenty more to come from him and I hope that the faith we have shown in him with all his injuries is returned in goals when he's fit.

I would not sell him in the least. I would rather have him fit and scoring. He started to show real promise before he was injured.

From a footballing point of view I think he's definitely worth having in the squad. From a medical view I'm not so sure we can afford him.
