A bit of a shame but would have felt gutted if Sakho didn't go through. If Benteke and Remy both get injuries at the same time that keep them out for more than a few weeks you'd just have to concede that somethings are written in the stars and someone wants Palace to go down. You can't keep having backups for backups and in all likelihood had we signed him, Benteke would have started, Remy would have seen slightly more football and Kone may never have had a look in. Saying that I still hope Advertiser is wrong.
