We've got sixteen games left, six against the top six which equals zero points so we have got to get the points from the other ten games. We need to be unbeaten in these games to stand a chance, six wins and four draws will take us to thirty eight points which may be enough. Its a very tall order though.

So the white flag raises its head again fluttering in the Selhust breeze; games against the top 6 are deemed 'nil points' and permeate x from y from the rest. No doubt the management are thinking the same....of course they are NOT and thank God.

We have 48 points to play for and we will be fighting for every one. Sam will not accept anything less.

If you believe you will fail then you will; believe that both individually and as a team you can win every game the chances of success massively increase.

It is easy to be negative especially at times like this but let's see what the new faces bring to the team and how Sam's management develops it. More time needed and on our part even more patience, albeit difficult.

Allardyce needs to get his act, and this squad, together. If we don't get more than 8 points from the next four games, we will be in trouble. I'd say we need more, but less than 8 and we will go down. He's had enough time to make an impact, however small, but I fear it is not enough.
