Terrible player and even worse, he can't be f***ed either. Release him now. He's so bad on the ball, if he makes a pass it's cause for celebration. Not sure he's ever got past a man in his life either I assume you weren't at the game today then when he beat the little known Yaya Toure and won a foul? Didn't think he was terrible today, but nowhere near the required level, I agree.

Thought many Championship sides were keen before the window opened, including Aston Villa and Birmingham. I'm not sticking up for the guy, but how many of his signings were seen as flops before they arrived? It's easy to critisise after the effect, but who would you not have signed? Cabaye? Benteke? Townesend? They all looked good on paper. Hindsight is wonderful, but they were all marque signings at the time. No manager ever gets every signing right, but you seem to think a manager should have the power of foresight. All the top teams have paid much more for failures than we have. If Mutch had turned out to be a Mahrez, things would be different. It didn't work that way. Get over it and stop with the past. That was then. Pardew is now history. Allardyce isn't as good as everyone thought (I didn't want him), and we may be relegated. Blaming Pardew for everything is pathetic. If the defenders let in goals, that is down to them. They used to stop goals. Now they don't. Even with Allardyce. Maybe we are out of our league, maybe we are unlucky. If the players start to play like they can, we may stay up. And that is the managers job to get them to. Our manager now is Allardyce. So blaming anyone else is ridiculous. All this harping on about fitness, spirit, etc., is tosh. We are now an Allardyce team. Stop making excuses.

That's all very well, but having watched Aki, Michael Hughes and Sean Derry and now this. The bloke does not even try and is not fit to pull on a Palace shirt.

Did you know he wasn't fit to lace Aki's boots when we signed him? Or that he couldn't boss the opposition like Hughes?? Or wear the shirt like Derry??? None of us knew that. Seeing a player 'in the flesh' for us is different from seeing them in another team. It's always a gamble with any signing. Some work, many don't.

The team played well. I expect that they are tired tonight, but confident that they will soon be collecting points. Hope they learned when the Manchester City team were playing fairly (Mr Taure should have walked), we need clean wins (without red and yellow card legacies. COYP

The point is, he does not even try. Gloves and a short sleeved shirt - just about sums the bloke up. Can't remember Aki wearing gloves.

Snow all year round more or less. Winter here is like summer in his homeland! Edit And maybe he suffers from Reynaud's Syndrome (Google it). Edited by Tim Gypsy Hill '64 (28 Jan 2017 11.46pm)

Watching Mutch wearing a Palace shirt, earning more money than I could ever dream of, destroys my faith in humanity.
