Sam didn't even know the name of the player and laughed it off. This one is bulls***. He was happy to talk frankly about other transfers as well so this one really is nonsense.

The article claims "Manoeuvring through the January transfer window with a seemingly scattergun approach, Crystal Palace have had another bid rejected" It certainly does seem to have been a scattergun approach if the media are to be believed but I wonder exactly how many of our so called targets have just been made up by a journalist or agent
