Fair play to you Marc.... your a bit of a legend.

I love lying in bed listening to rock and indie style music.

I even phoned in at 2am for a competition to recognise a song ending (INXS - Need you tonight) and won a Dr John CD!

Yeah probably people of our vintage can still win competitions without Google.

me and a similar aged mate were saying this in a footo convo recently.

We were trying to think of the Chelsea player/coach done for being a Paedophile a few years back.... but gave up after 5 minutes and I asked my phone.... Graham Rix, the answer 2 seconds later!

Google etc is great, but it's killing our ability to think for ourselves sadly.

When kids now get to age 60+ they will not have a stored bank of info like we have now surely?

I think she kept a lot of people like you entertained through the night monkey.

18 years on nightwork.... Wowzer!

I wasn't always keen on SOME of the music she played to be honest, but I liked her as a presenter, she always came across as genuine, warm and passionate about her job, unlike the false happy clappy style of Evans and feltz!! Thankfully I'm home and finished work these days before those two come on!!

I see Alex Lester has got a slot on my local BBC Radio Kent!!
