Without wishing to be branded Willo when only a leg was offside then I would suggest it was not a blatent failure which no one would have noticed had we won. Unfortunately in our predicament we have to clutch at straws.

Thanks. The angle I viewed from was closer and clearer than both linesman and referee but to be fair even then it was dubious.

Yet another Palace score line hampered by poor refereeing in the instance of clear offside. How many key decisions have cost the team important points this season that referral to tv replay technology could've addressed? Standard of officiating in cricket and rugby demonstrates how lesser financed sports are way ahead of football.

Was not offside, Ward played Coleman onside. Ref did ok yesterday and did not and should not have stopped play when Schluup was off the pitch injured. We lost yesterday as we only had 2 attempts at goal both headers. We are missing Wilf big time.

Shearer slagged us off with relish there. Obviously forwards are not affected by confidence when the team is struggling? Benteke is suffering like everyone else, but he's the easy target. Remy is clearly rusty and been thrown into a struggling side, but Shearer feels it's right to slate them. First time I've listened to any "analysis" in a couple of seasons, but knew Shearer was gonna love slagging us.
Everyone's right, the ref doesn't have to stop play, but when there's a natural break he should allow treatment. The ball went out for a throw, so he did get it wrong. Failing that someone should of clattered an everton player. So genuinely hope a similar thing happens to them, see how the smug c*** koeman reacts then?

Far better, vastly experienced Match analyst provides reasoned prediction of Palace's remaining season fixtures:

Guys schlupp was off the pitch when injured, by rolling on the pitch does not mean played should be stopped- we had the chance to make a sub, allardyce chose not to. We were outplayed- and despite holding on for so long due to hennessey, as the home team we deserved nothing. Looking at our previous teams, promotion season, pulis team, pardew team etc, we would of lost against those teams. Worst we have been since holloway first six months in prem.

When the ball went out if play both player and trainer were on the pitch, so play should have been stooped even if it was just to tell the trainer to get the trainer off....

That can't be right as Hennessy is hopeless. I know because I have constantly read it on this forum

Haven't had the chance yet to watch my recording of MoTD. At the time, I thought their goal was offside. Was it?

Maybe, it was borderline and you'd need slow motion to determine either way. Difficult call for the linesman.

I thought Shearers analysis had it's fair share of truth in it, although Remy looked alright and he should have said that rather than having a go at the 'front 2'. His comments on the incidents they showed were inline with what people sitting near me were saying at the time. Benteke sometimes could do a bit more and occasionally looks like he can't be arsed.

Bloke behind me was slagging him off for most of the match yesterday, some people just love to slate certain players.

On Shearer, obviously he only watches edited highlights, no way could he'd have time to watch all of each match. Agree that he's a t*** though.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hahaha Shearer loses £6Million by listening to advice to invest his fortune in an overseas tax haven which goes t1ts up.

Serves the greedy tw@t right for not being content with normal investments that he could have invested in using a legit IFA like myself before I retired.

I can't stand Shearer, so news like this absolutely makes my day... he won't see a penny of that £6Million back either.
