The objective right now is to end the losing habit and in doing so repair confidence. Without confidence you cannot achieve anything and losing all the time just destroys you more and more. Unusually for us we've also been victim to very poor decisions and Worldies taking points away from us, this can be even more demoralising as you ask, as we as fans are, "What is it we need to do to get some luck here?" This 100%

Remy did. He was wrestled to a halt by Fuentes Mori. It looked blatant at full speed, and more obvious on the replay. He was blatantly held, ref had excellent view

Whilst a draw wouldn't have been an unfair result, we only had 1 shot on target that I remember and only maybe 1 more chance than that. In contrast, Everton had numerous chances and had Barkley not been so wasteful they could've had 3 or 4. We were clearly setup to not concede and get that confidence back and to be fair we nearly did it. However, you're not gonna get the points required unless you score goals so we need to find the balance and quick! I was actually there and it was a vastly improved performance. Hit the bar and goalie making an excellent save equates to more than 1 chance. We played some good stuff against a good Everton team, of course we dont want to concede...who does?

However, whilst better, we didn't show enough going forward to win the game.

Resembled a rugby tackle, it appears refs were told not to give any penalties this week, after watching Walker blatantly pushing Sterling in the back as he was about to score for Man City.

Both of those should be retroactive red cards, if the league is actually doing its job properly (which of course won't happen). The rules are clear that grabbing and pushing to deny a goal scoring opportunity are red cards. A regular foul is meant to be a yellow in the area. They went over the rule during the game. Both could not have been any more blatant.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

But we didn't deserve another awful decision from a referee. If you are referring to when Schlupp was down the ref. was quite entitled to allow play to go on, even when the throw in was given. When Schlupp first went down he was over the line and off the field of play and could have been attended to by the physio. However, he intentionally rolled back over the line to try to get play stopped. Edited by Pete53 (21 Jan 2017 10.22pm)

The ref didn't put the ball in the net at the end of the day. And the ref saw Schlupp go down off the pitch. If a player from another team went down off the pitch we'd sll be screaming play on. The team is too weak to cope with being a player light for a couple minutes. Standard Palace this season conceding lategoals. Yet its never our fault?

How long was the passage of play ? If it was long why wan't instructions given to the players with us with 10 players ? What I have seen from the highlights unfortunately Ledley at the back hit it too well, if he had shanked it into the stands/behind for a corner we might well of got the ball back under the circumstances.
