Hey? wtf? Care to elaborate?

I've highlighted the defence training issues at very specific times intertwined with the fact Pardew was given too much time. And you think I'm a sycophant. SP has made errors here and there. That's for sure.

My apologies Rudi, I have re-read your post and I was wrong. My comment was after my 5th pint of San Miguel - apologies again! O.F.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

Yes if you think about it; McArthur, Zaha, Flamini could probably fill in at right-back if the squad was ever completely decimated by injury, that's in addition to the normal options of Ward, Kelly and Tomkins there. On the left there was no left footer pre-January that could have done a job there, Ledley at a stretch? At least we have Schlupp now who is supposedly versatile.

Yeah. Amateur and travesty. In the highest league of all places.

I don't care if he's burnt himself out or not. And he hasn't.
He's the best chairman we've ever had in my Palace supporting lifetime.... Bloye, Noades, Goldberg, Jordan.
No comparison.

It's because he's the best chairman that we've ever had that I do care if he's burned himself out.

Sycophant Alert...

No, just a very good summary of the situation. Take a look at Charlton, Coventry and Leyton Orient for examples of Chairman who haven't got a clue and how much unrest this has created with their supporters. We have a Chairman who is Palace through and through and whilst not every decision made has perhaps been the right ones, he is in that seat with the genuine interests of this great club at his heart. I would rather this than some guy or indeed women from Foreign climbs who is purely in it for the potential monies on offer. Support your Chairman and board...No he hasn't peaked by the way!

His heart is in the right place but some of his decision-making is baffling on ticketing, and lack of progress on ground improvements, scouting and academy fronts maybe tells us he could be doing a much better job if he had the right people in place in order to help him to achieve this.

Don't think he is burned out but more running out of ideas and luck.

I certainly think he needs more experienced staff around him to deal with scouting and transfers.

As I said in my original post, I don't think he has burnt himself out.
He's been a football club owner a short number of years. He's still finding his feet.

Been on Football Focus for about 5 mins near the dugout talking to jonathan pearce. Looked fresh and positive. Newer slicker hairstyle.

Seriously, I expect there's going to be a different more serious and focused mindset around the playing squad now.
