You cannot draw such a conclusion. There are a variety of reasons why teams cannot get their targets "Over the line". Correct it is really my view , if I was a footballer the thought of playing under a manager with such a defensive approach would not fill me with enthusiasm. As always it will be down to MONEY.

In January teams won't usually release a player until they have an agreement in place for a replacement. January is a slow transfer window which is why deals are expensive & a mad rush last minute. It's all about who blinks first.

maybe this is SP's plan. maybe he never wanted crooked sam so hes hoping he walks and they dont have to pay him off. on a serious note, i cant see him being a big draw to come & play for...given his reputation on & off the pitch.

Tough tough times for SP. I think he wants Palace to retain profit to help with the ground and FFP is a genuine constraint on top of that. We are in a position that doesn't lend itself to attracting the players we need. Premiums must be paid. But against that, we absolutely must retain Allardyce. He goes and we are down. Plain and simple. Allardyce, for his part, is savvy enough to know this but will also be determined to retain hos reputation for keeping sides up. So he'll be pushing for players like mad, putting public pressure on. Then, in the background, the yanks will be fretting/moaning. Rather him than me. Although I'd take his car.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
