I think if we had less injuries and people away on international duty Kiakai would not of been recalled he has a lot to learn and would get nowhere near the near a first team squad, With Townsend I was at the game and thought for an ex England player he was poor and again kept losing the ball or giving it away. He Looked comfortable playing against a League one side, With the keeping I think Speroni should be given a chance. Lets hope we have turned the corner, I honestly think our squad is good enough, I think lack of confidence and fitness are our main downfall at the moment

I was there and on lasts nights game I agree KAI KAI is not ready for the first team.

All Townsend needs to do is beat a man on the left and feed Benteke he will score.

Good Substitutes by Sam yesterday,plus a good move by moving Flamini further forward to create Bentekes first goal.

Now for Everton.Sam can choose between Wayne and Jules.

He is one of those players who's reputation grew the more he wasn't playing and I'm guessing that Sam recalled him to enable him to have a closer look and probably now realises that he's not the player to propel us up the table and away from the relegation area

Fitness definitely told but his touches and awareness of what was around him were worrying for me.

Link up play and instinctiveness lacking. I think he will find his level in the championship.

A lot of people on here seem to be writing Kaikai off after one game which seems very harsh!

Not the best performance granted but I think people were expecting to see a Wilf-type player (I'm guitly of this too), but clearly Kaikai is very different and that bar is very high anyway!

Looks to have good shooting technique, decent passer, and made some good runs.

Agree another Championship loan would be very beneficial, but a great experience for him anyway getting 90 minutes with the other players

Kaikai did ok, I was a little disappointed given we were playing Bolton and he has played at that level or higher for a couple of seasons. But he is still learning, he had one reasonable free kick, one shocker. Plenty of experienced pros do the same.

If he stays for the rest of the season, I can only see him being used as an impact sub.

the kid was on his knees second half, definitely a fitness issue.

Thought he looked bright early on and like that he isn't afraid to shoot (although sure we will train that out of him over time!).

I'd rather we kept him in the squad and used him off the bench, especially this month where we are so light on wingers..
