Can you see where the next point is coming from, because I don't.

Looking at the fixtures for the bottom 3, at least until the end of January, they don't have any points coming either. Still time to drag Leicester and 'Boro into the mix too.

Next 4 games:

CPFC: Everton, B/mouth (a), Sunderland, Stoke (a)
Hull: Chelsea (a), Man Utd (a), Liverpool, Arsenal (a)
S/land: WNA, Spurs (a), Palace (a), Soton
Swans: Liverpool (a), Soton, Man City (a), Leicester

Need to have made some daylight by the end of this run.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

We can not drag anyone into it.

Yeah, just checked the next 4 games for Leicester and Boro, and they should pick up some points. We have to make some daylight between us and the bottom 3 so that it's all-but over before our horrible May schedule rolls around.

Which one of the teams above us could implode?

Anything is possible in football sudden loss of confidence and it all goes pear-shaped.

Southampton.

As long as it is 4 we have chance but don't hold out much hope !

Could see Watford being in the mix and Boro maybe. Hopefully more like a league of six.

For survival a point is requiered per game. Under Pardew we had 0.9 points per game in other words 1 win short. Under BFS we have 0.25 per game we now need 1.22 points per game. Not impossible but a tall order. The only saving grace is the teams around us are also very poor. Did the board pull the trigger to early or to late?

Home games against Hull, Sunderland and Boro are all huge. Genuine six pointers.
There's still time to fix this.

We couldn't beat an egg at the moment.

Abandon ship. All hope is lost.

Come on: you are comparing AP over his almost half season (and relegation form), and Allardyce's very short tenure. That's like saying Mourinho is worse than van Gaal because the former struggled at the start of the season.

I didn't want AP (or SA for that matter) but he did a great job for 18 months. It then went to s***.

Some of the people calling for Sam's head are the same people who wanted more time for AP. That is hypocritical, and unreasonable. Sam needs time to fix this mess: and it is a big mess, and we should all be in no doubt about that.

Sam is five games in and the team are worse now than under Pardew. After 12 games and if the situation hasn't changed I think it is entirely reasonable for him to be axed.

New managers at flailing clubs are supposed to improve situations.
