Interesting to note that although none in Premier league Gayle Murray Vaughan and Dobbie have scored over 60 goals between them this season. Couldn't recognise a striker if we tried.Seems only Calvin Andrew still cant score much!

I think Van Arnholt will happen in the summer. Easy if Sunderland are relegated. Cost more if not.

Not if we relegated with them...

'Who next'? I think the question should more properly be 'who'd be prepared to join us'. Our targets were already limited by our league position and form, and that performance yesterday won't have helped a recruitment drive one bit. Good luck to Allardyce and Parish, because I think they're going to need it.

We need players in this week in time for Everton, otherwise it's another game with players out of position. It's time to panic and spent some money, pay the extra million to get a player, or we're gona be in the championship with no money and an even harder job of getting back up!

I think if we are buying Jenkinson then we wil be selling one of Kelly or Ward. Unless one or other is considered Central defender cover. We need cover for central defender and both can do that

I think we need another striker Remy and Benteke will not remain injury free for the rest of the season.

We are still short on left hand side, I am unsure where Schlupp will play is he a left back or winger. Anyway we need at least one more player on that side. I think it might be Downing as he can also play attacking midfield which we also need

The way we've been playing this year I'd say we need replacements not cover.

Source who broke Allardyce news and Schlupp transfer has just said that this could be 'one of the biggest weeks in the club's history'. Also added 'and the fans might not like it'. Wonder what these cryptic messages mean?

Apparently Brady Off, Evra potentially on the cards but the way that is phrased makes me wonder if we will see some potentially BIG outgoings too? Whatever happens we need a shake-up

Personally, I would love to see us move for a creative number 10, someone like Bojan at Stoke, WHO IS AVAILABLE. Mind-boggling we're not all over this one....

Disagree, he needs to play and be good or don't sign him. We need players that are fit and good enough now. We don't need anymore experience or leadership siting in the dugout.

We need a left back who can play straight away. Evra would be good with his quality and experience. We lose possession so quickly down the left due to having right footed players in that position.

Second need I think is central midfield. We lack pace and composure there, at times it's painful to watch. I said this position needed addressing in the summer, and it wasn't. It's now even more obvious. In the summer I felt Bentaleb would have been perfect, don't think that's possible anymore... So Sam will have to find a gem somewhere.

people may not be that excited by the thought of downing...but his crossing ability is second to none and he would provide ample oppotunities for bentekkers.

a no frills player but he gets the job done.

If we can get Evra for the rest of this season I think it would make a real difference.

As well as still being a highly effective player, his mentality and leadership would be invaluable.
