Let's introduce some common-sense into this shall we. You want to sign Terry and get rid of Remy. At the same time we're supposedly thinking of selling Benteke and Campbell and also signing Fonte. So we end up with no strikers and two extra centre-backs when what we actually need most urgently is a left-back and a left-winger. If the club actually do that it will be the biggest f*** up since the Charge of the Light Brigade. We have 20 days to sort out the disaster on the left and if we really are f***ing about looking at CBs and selling strikers then I can only assume that Parish, Allardyce and anyone else who has a say in running this circus have collectively taken leave of their f***ing senses. Can't but agree with this. Personally I think SA is looking to play 352 with wing backs. We won't get rid of Remy, Fonte may be agent talk to get a move to Man Utd.

It was Pardew's fantasy to see John Terry in a Palace kit. That reason alone should red-flag this idea. It was during the time Dann-Delaney was a partnership he had not yet destroyed. Despite this he wanted to bring a wrecking-ball to the pair and install JT. Like his mate Cabaye he would then probably drone on about how wonderful the player was and far, far superior to every other player in the squad and deserved to be paid four times more.

john terry could be the best player we could hope for this transfer window. a leader of men, and without a doubt the best englishcentral defender of a generation.

He is without doubt the finest centre half England have produced in many many years and would still do a job for us. I despise him intently as a person and know things about him the general public don't which confirms that view for me but if he can do it on the pitch for us then I'm happy.

My original post may not have been clear- I don't want JT. I'd take Fonte but really think a couple of left backs would do wonders for our defence Originally posted by bexleydave
