Moral standards - Do we care?

Its not for the club to prosecute wrong doing, that's the job of the FA and criminal courts. If Sammy Lee purjuried himself, then he should be charged and tried. I don't particually like either him or Allerdyce, but in terms of moral objection, their alleged offences aren't really all that serious. They relate mostly to being 'money motivated' in a sport where money is spent in an obscene manner. I don't really have a issue with them 'trying to get their share' in an industry that pays people upto 500k a week for their ability to kick a ball about. I think we should stop all this negative talk about integrity, none of us are perfect in this world and it not our position to judge others on things that have happened in the past which can never be changed. What we should be looking forward is a new beginning for CP under a very skilled Manager and Assistant, we need to all pull together, hopefully the team will be strengthened in the right area's and we will go on to even greater horizons from the low point we are at today thanks to AP, who was not withouth his own skeletons in the cupboard!

My worry was that recruiting Alardyce would 'damage our brand'. Impression so far is that this is not the case. I think our new management will tread very carefully from here on as the press will be trying to catch them out again. This has to be good for us. Surely Alardyce has paid for what he did and should be allowed to get on with his life (and job).
