Possible replacement for Benteke ?

Let's face it, we won't get anyone, especially in this window. We've spent ages getting a PL goal-scoring striker and we'd be mad to chuck that away after a few months in, what has been, a very poor team tactically. I was hoping that Allardyce would get the team playing in a way that keeps Benteke and Remy supplied with chances. As someone said on another thread, we've already rolled the dice on a managerial change mid-season, to do it again for another striker, when we already have one, would be bloody stupid.

Look at our team last season without a goalscorer - couldn't get a goal. Selling Benteke would give us cash, but we would need to find someone else to put the ball in the net.

Imagine selling Benteke, buying players in midfield and defence and still go down because we didn't score enough!!!

Some people on here have no idea.
