I like his style. He does not seem to get involved in tittle tattle about other clubs and managers. He is not prickly like Pardew could be towards the journalists. Lets give the guy a break. He has only been here two weeks, has probably only had three training sessions maximum due to the amount of games in such a small period of time. His press conference gave me optimism that our season basically starts again now. We currently have 9 key players out injured, plus 2 others (Wilf and Sako) at the AFCOM tournament, and he says he will bring in hopefully some new players to give everyone a lift. He did not put us in this position, so lets get behind him

I have to say, I didn't want AP or SA. However, I have been impressed with him so far. He seems far more balanced that AP, who always seemed a bit to full of himself. That works when you win all the time, but hpgets old when you are losing.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I liked his interview too especially the tongue in cheek remarks. It's a pleasant change to see our manager have a joke and a smile with the press. But this is only BS's personal character compared to AP's.

If he keeps us up then we'll all be his admirers but, of course, we'll never know if AP would've done too.

In the end all fans need to accept where we are and get right behind the team because we're going to need every once of support we can get.

Absolutely. There are certain sides whose form is fading (Burnley and Watford, e.g) and there are several teams who can get dragged into the mire.

18 games to go. A lot can (and will) happen between now and May.

Yes, but we can not rely on others fading so our target has to be to win 9/18, that is the only realistic way we can be sure of staying up!

Den,the way the league is going this season,we might not need to Win so many games.
Top 6 sides are winning more games than normal.
Anyhow we need a win.

Hi Al, hope your feeling a bit better, you fully agree but like to be on the safe side and not rely on other teams just the way I am! by the way wish you all the best of luck for 2017 hope all goes really well for you with your treatment.
