Hull City changed manager a couple of days ago (Silva) who has already brought in his own assistants. When is Sam Allardyce going to do the same? Any news on that? Although Keith Millen seems a nice guy, I think the squad need a lot rougher approach during the training sessions to get out of this mess than Millen & Woodward provides...

It will depend on the contract Allardyce signed, it is usual to state if current training staff stay or certain ones. He may not be able to bring his own staff in.
In Swanseas case the was no clause in Clements contract, so Alan Curtis who had been at the club over 20 years, was sacked by text, nice! Clements brought his team in within 48hours of being appointed.
As there has been no movement at Selhurst, it would suggest the current backroom stay for now.

Interesting statement, and have thought similar but Pulis kept Millen as his assistant

Keith is a really genuine bloke and is a great link between the manager and players he does great work behind the scenes and any new manager has seen it fairly quickly.

I'm more worried about the fitness levels, amount of injuries picked up in training and AW is not the best advertisement for any sort of coach.

Yeah, agreed. He's quite portly too.

We need Fat Sam, Chubby Sammy, Fat Andy retained as goalie coach, Jo Brand, huge Palace fan in more ways than one, to lead and appoint her own Crystals, and Neil Shipperly re-signed to put some gut back into the attack.

It's so nice that not everyone on here is suicidal.

Not happy about this if this is the case. If we're going to get the big Sam experience then he needs his whole team with him. Mark Noble included.

Hopefully we will be loosening our belts in the transfer window too.
