I think Sako has a lot of potential from the times I've seen him play. Personally I'd give him a run of games over Townsend and maybe with a run of games we'll see what he can really do.

I'd agree he should be given a run, and as for his wage. He ran his contract down and was a free signing. All free signings get paid more than they otherwise would. Find it lazy every time I hear people bomoan his wage. He cost us nothing. Anyway I think it's a positive that Sam seems to be getting more from some of our fringe players. No way is it worth selling him for £4m...

Totally agree man, him and Chung as well, you can tell they have a certain level of skill and energy, but they're usually subbed in for the last 10-20 minutes so they don't have time to get up to game speed. I don't understand why they were barely rotated in when everyone in the middle except for Zaha and Mccarthur has generally been below average this year

Has been poor, a bit predictable and injury record is a concern, does he warm up properly. Should go to championship club but won't as wages are too high. That's why he'll stay, why should he take a drop in wages

Sam Allardyce has said Sako is staying at the club and will fight for a first team place.

He's overweight unfit and injury prone. £4 m is way more than he is worth.

The only thing that will bring him back anywhere close to match fit would be a three week bout of gastro-enteritis. All the best and all that, but let's not kid ourselves with wages of £65k per week there is no risk of him going anywhere. Happy to see him come back though and earn them.
