If the Chinese offer £40 million then grab it because his value in this league is nowhere near what we paid for him.

I disagree - the improved performance in the 2nd half was because Campbell was prepared to run his socks off making space and chasing down. But I think that was because the team had to vary the lump-it style. If we had played that way when Benteke was on the field in the first half we would have been much better off. But I admit he can lack work ethic. His ability to hold the ball up is actually very good. But we're not letting him play that way. Laughable ? Our position is very serious and although 8 goals from 18 games sounds good were they good or vital enough for him to be worth £30 or 40 million? not to me when I consider the 2 pathetic pen misses which cost us dearly! I never thought I'd be calling for Campbell to come on but that's what I and many others were doing last night !!

He was on for 45 mins yesterday and still won more headers than anyone else on the pitch (equal with Llorente). Do I think he has done enough to justify a £30m price tag? No not really. But the main problem last night wasn't his lack of effort. It was that the rest of the team seemed intent on bypassing the midfield and just hoofing it at every opportunity (and according to the press conference that was against BFS's wishes). I was calling for Campbell to come on last night but I wanted it to be with Benteke (unfortunately he was injured).
