Hopefully the players will use the width more rather than looking like dogs chasing their tails whenever they get the ball in the middle of the pitch.

I think it'll be very tight but we'll sneak it 2-1.

This will be a very hard game. Swansea will realise they have more chance against us than most teams and they know they can score against us. As well as being motivated they have had an extra day to recover and, with our injury list, we have no real chance of any meaningful rotation. With the amount of running that both Zaha and Townsend were asked to do they will be especially tired. I expect Swansea to sit back, try to keep it scoreless until 60 mins and then use our tiredness and weaker subs to force a result. If we can get a lead first half then I think we will win. If not I fear we will lose. I actually don't attach overwhelming significance to this game. I think Swansea will go down anyway and that we will survive as we are really a mid table quality side who have had an appalling run. We won't just take points off the bottom feeders but probably rather more off the other mid table sides.

As Sam has said , but people choose not to understand, It will take more than a week to fix a years worth of damage.

Was it Sam or you that quoted it will take more than a week to fix a years worth of Damage? I heard him say that it will be at least March/April before we are further up the table and that if things do not go well it could come down to the last few games. No mention of a years worth of damage.
Any road up I think we will win 3-1

Well it's credit to him that he did not say that about the years worth of damage , and I do not think he will say it as he would not want to use the previous incumbent as an excuse , but does he really have to spell it out that much ?
The team has been rubbish for the whole of 2016 , do you not think there is quite a bit of damage done there ? There was certainly no sign of any fix on the horizon.
I hope you are right on the score , I think it will be very tough and would obviously love the win , but as I said 1-1 , too early for any dramatic improvement.

We would have won this one with Pards. I do, however, agree that he created long term damage by poor coaching.

I reckon we should win 3 - 1 but can imagine it turning into a scrappy horrible affair.

We will probably make it difficult for ourselves, as usual, but really if we can't beat these reasonably easily it's squeaky bum time for the rest of the season.

Be organized at the back and take our chances and there should be opportuneties in this match.3 Points it`s what we need to start climbing.
Hoping for a clean sheet and 2-0 Palace

Can we get 2 wins in january or even more it will be enough to stay clear of relagation zone.

So come on you Eagles go out and do the job.

I agree there is no way a fellow professional would say that about a former manager. You are of course correct we have been all potential and no points. Let us hope BFS is the one to change all that starting on Tuesday. COYP

Bit harsh about someone who has been played out of position for most of the season.

As it stands now Sunderland have got a draw and Hull are loosing and then it is up to us to do our job against Swansea.

I honestly think we will lose. Alardyce hasn't had time to change things yet, the psychological advantage has to be with Swansea, our players are nackered, we've got no substitutes and too many are off form.

I guess Hol will go barmy if we lose but for me, whilst it will be a setback I think the new manager needs a couple more weeks to turn things round.
