2 full-backs that can run, defend and pass to a teammate would be a good start (Ward might be enough if playing on right side). A central defender and a Defoe-type on top. Use Mutch and Townsend as bait...

I don't think buying a new centre back is going to change much for us. I'd spend the money on a prem quality central midfielder. We need to start winning the ball back further up the pitch.

Matic has been different class for Chelsea this season compared to last. Everyone is praising Kante but I think Matic is the key to a solid Chelsea defence and that's why I think we need a prem quality replacement for Jedinak...that's a key position in my opinion.

We need a LB. Gibbs if he is fit and available is a player that fits the bill. RB can be looked at in the summer.

I think we need a left footed forward. To say replace bolasie tho, I mean I'd be asking for a lot.

Wickham needs to be replaced.

Now these are not players that I think we can get but I consider them to be of the quality we could bring to the club.

Disagree about Ward. When he's playing RB, he's a decent prem player. Certainly disagree about Punch. A few bad games does not a bad player make. He's shown his quality.

Ideal transfer window sees Gibbs/Brady coming in at left back, a left winger and another striker to replace Wickham of the same ilk.... No point getting a Defoe or someone similar when we had Gayley. We don't play little guys. We don't need much else.
