Palace goal difference is a reasonable -4. Swansea and Hull shipping goals Sunderland -12. Wonder which team(s) could implode Leicester wobbling how amazing that would be. West Ham 3 wins while playing rubbish just goes to show what can happen. Palace injury list worrying tho even then I think they should have enough the bookies my guide. Teams just above us would only have to slip up a couple of times to be in the bottom three.

Happy New Year!

Just stop Bentece taking penalties and hope Clattenburg takes the money and goes to China. Tell Delaney to keep his hands to himself Then we will be OK

I feel dirty for saying it but I would not be that unhappy if Bolton knock us out of the cup this year. The team will get an extra weekend in January free for recovery and any new players can assimilate into the squad.

Edited by Y Ddraig Goch (28 Dec 2016 5.38pm) I think you are right, we do not need any distractions or more injury worries from extra games, so for me that is a a good sacrifice for the wellbeing of the team in order for them to be able tackle the PL games where our priority has to now be!

Tell Delaney to keep his hands to himself Then we will be OK The amount of points Delaney has cost us is ridiculous. Not to forget the bloke can't see a simple 5-yard pass to a centre-midfielders; instead playing a diagonal to the opposition defenders. Sadly, for me, Damo is probably past it and is at best BACKUP. To answer the thread, we are by no means out of trouble. Swansea will bring in someone new, Hull have fighters and Sunderland always squeeze out of it. I think it will be Swansea, Hull and perhaps Boro, who have been lucky of late with other teams such as us and West Ham underperforming Edited by SeagullHunter (28 Dec 2016 8.04pm)

Since Pards brought Damo back to stop the goals conceded from set pieces the scores have been 1-2 ManU 0-1 Chelsea and 1-1 Watford so he is very necessary. You can expect him to score an o.g. once or twice a season and maybe a couple of penalties but you will also find him attacking and scoring or assisting 3-4 goals. The new manager has a worry about him not about the penalty but he won't be available against Arsenal who we drew with 1-1 at Arsenal last season with Delaney playing. How many teams do that. Damo a complete inspiration don't let them do another Jedinak.

What we do need to do is ensure that his and Jedi's eventual replacement have the right character.
