Don't think we looked in any trouble today, probably cos Watford were shyte, we looked quite organised and we did ok in the midfield considering we had MacArthur and Ledley missing. Watford were shyte because we played so well. In the first half we were Europe material. Build on that and we will be top 10

Sam is sounding good and as someone else said, with Ledley and McArthur missing it was a bloody good show. Clattenburg did a reasonable job but as Sam intimated, Gomez should of been red carded like both our players for much less. My money's on a top ten finish. With Ledley and McArthur out today, Pards would have lost this match not a doubt in my mind. Should have won this - we're a top ten team.

it was a decent point away from home but lets be honest. we played no differently than we did under pards Not surprising given that Pards was the manager until three days ago and one of those days was Christmas Day. Talk about unrealistic expectations. And it was still a point that IMHO Pards would have squandered somehow.

I thought in the first half today we were almost unplayable Same as every week. 45 mins of great play then 45 mins of crap. Also could'a won it in the 1st half but missed a pen <again>. Even going all out for the win with Campbell at the end - I didn't see much change TBH. I think we'll survive, but its small margins....

above mid table is 10th or better................
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Undone by poor refereeing and finishing I personally think we played a bit better in that first half yesterday IMO, however, the rest of the post is spot on. Big Sam made virtually the same changes Pards made recently, that a few people moaned about, however, what other options did he have to change it? He brought on Campbell for Flamini which in my eyes is an attacking sub like Pards did in an attempt to nick the points. Townsend got his way today and played on the right, and indeed played well. But, I don't know how long Wilf will swallow that, and may want to move on. I know who I would be trying to keep happy, hence Townsend being on the bench recently. Still, if we can keep up the improvement shown in the last three matches, I'm in no doubt with the next three months fixtures, we should be able to haul ourselves away from the trap door. Fingers crossed!

From what Trevor Brooking was saying on five live we were excellent, suppose there are always some who look for the negative, I for one though did not want BS but believe that he will make us combative, and according to West Hamm mate he thought they played some impopressive football under his tenure
