I am guessing...but the only reason we know about Allardyce's indiscretions is because he was England manager when they happened. And the word integrity is interesting. As others have said...integrity is not a very common thing in professional sport. And I would guess that if we are anywhere above 15th place in May...you wont find many on here saying I would rather have gone down with a manager that has not had his laundry aired in the national press.

There are all sorts of stories coming out about player revolts, the team being disillusioned with tactics and general poor man management. He'd lost the dressing room. Interesting, got any links to any of these stories? It didn't look like he'd lost the dressing room on the pitch, we just weren't playing that well. (I was in favour of getting BSA FYI)

This moralistic stance is ridiculous. Football, integrity and morals parted company many years ago.

A 'sad' day for Palace.... now, we seem to be like all the other 'money number one' clubs...forget honest, fair, truthful, integrity, style of football club..Anything goes from now on.. I truly love Palace, but this is really making me feel quite sick.. God help us..

He was a plonker but committed no crime. With Parish's expertise on branding he wouldn't dream of employing him if he was in genuine hot water. He ran a mile from Malkie. Too embarrassing for the FA to support him but not guilty of anything illegal as far as I can see. I'm easy with our integrity.

Oh come on, lets not be naive, Sam made an error of judgement and was entrapped by slime ball reporter, not saying he was not a bit simple by being sucked in to the con but lets be honest how many others would not have been tempted. To be fair he has been proven to be quality Manager at keeping clubs in PL when they in deep trouble, lets be grateful SP has sorted this out before the transfer window is open and what a great Christmas gift, by golly we needed it. Its now time to stop all this negative comment and get behind our team and its manager!
