It's one of those relationships that I wanted to work and last the tests of time, but alas it wasn't to be.

Reckon the geordie boards are having a field day with "We told you so" being screamed at every Palace fan they can find.

Don't want fat w*nker Sam here, but have a horrible sinking feeling that his fat arse may just be warming our bench in 2017.

Millen in charge for Watford?

I have beer, soon I will have no beer.

Goodnight and Merry Christmas.

Very inventive post title by the way.
Our record has been shocking, but I felt these past few games we have played well and the players seem to have done their best for Pardew.
We were narrowly beaten by two of the best teams in the land.
Seems a bit untimely to sack him now before the Watford game , one which we would have had a good chance of winning. I don't think we would have been relegated had he stayed. But presumably pressure from our American friends forced the issue

..always a shame doing this sort of thing especially after our defending has seen a marked improvement, this must have been arranged after the Hull game because after the Southampton one he was given the thumbs up and the last two games were never to be taken that seriously, it just must have taken time since that Hull game to sort out the arrangement....hopefully they have sorted an arrangement.

It all comes down to a snake in the grass and a referee who after finding it drops it down Pardews pants.

Defence saw a marked improvement in 2 games that we should definitely be 100% focused on f'ing defending anyway. And since no points were expected why chuck 1 away v Man Utd? The man's a fool. He put himself in these tight spots time and time again.

After the Hull game? Oh you meant the total shambles yet again game. Oh yes, that one.

I got the impression super duper al thumpbs upped Parish. What could Parish do but reciprocate? It was all a bit cringe and hopeful from a man who knew he was deeper and deeper in the shoit without belief he'd reverse it.

..the mistakes the defenders were making had relegation written on them, but our attacking had top ten written very clearly, usually teams with our defending would have similar problems the other end, the new manager will have very little to do to sort this club out.

..yes, in the end the results got him and fairly so, because results trump performances, he was unable to stop the defending mucking up the great work the attacking had achieved, bad luck with awful refereeing put into a blender with dodgy defending has killed him, subs has nothing to do with anything, because there happens to be another ten players on the pitch and when you attack eleven players attack and when you defend eleven players defend.

Merry Christmas Rudi, although we may not see eye to eye, I do wish you a merry Christmas, OK.

You will never get the concept of players notice a midfielder goes off for a forward to come on will you? Jmmmac was tackilng 5 yards away, 3 mins before where Pogba and Cabaye came together, or Cabaye nonced. Watch the highlights. I promise you he did.

Also, the other day you blamed the players for not being fit, alert, focused enough and not the training planned for them Mon-Fri and over several weeks. As if they're doing 90 mins of training at the local high school gym and maybe 1 match at Power League. There has been a gradual decline of application over 12 months. That happens, like in any business because of poor stewardship.

This was the last straw for me and maybe for Steve Parish too. It was such a glaring mistake and if I was an owner it would've made me think that this guy would take us down. Pardew's goose was cooked because of his totally irresponsible attempt to go for the glory result. He has nobody to blame except himself and his ego,

..taking McArthur off and putting Campbell on didn't result in us having no defenders, I counted eleven players against eleven players, in fact it should have been eleven against ten, but I won't go there and I won't mention Pardews luck.

If that's true then why couldn't Pardew over the past 12 months? Maybe not quite as good as you or he believes he is?

Ironic his comments about Warnock now, we barely won since he made them.

Anyway the romanticism waned ages ago. This is the most ruthless league in the world and we have to make sure we stay in it. He was not the route to that so he is no more but gets a £5mil pay off.

Back to treating it as business which unfortunately top football is now although not quite so much with Parish. (he isn't trying to maximise fan spend and the eventual sale of club and profit from it looks years away with headaches in between)

I have seen us fail to reach our potential for too long so I'm pleased Parish has done this rather than stick with him and see us f*** it up once again and go down for a decade with the same ground and no structural improvements whatsoever.

..I didn't say our players were not fit, I did say that it would have been down to all the players personally for their own gratification to be able to stand up for themselves and to give a good account of themselves for the sake of being selected and for any prying eyes watching their progress from other interested parties, players need to be seen to be improving and consistent, it is to their own personal gain to be fit and able, only a new player and one who hasn't yet played any large amount of games needs to be told and informed about being fit and ready for match days, we are talking about very experienced players here...players that don't need to be told by the manager what to do on a match day.

Again, Merry Christmas.

Pardew cannot whip them into shape. This has been proven over a long enough period of time. That is why this has happened. You know it.

And he does not value prem points enough which now must've angered the owners.
