many times we would win possession and slowly pass it back towards hennessey.

that is a total lack of confidence, hunger, aggression and belief.

zaha having a verbal disagreement on the pitch with his own players.

pardew has presided over long runs of losses also at other clubs.

Gayle, muzza, jedinak.....all gone.

Pardew...Part to the French riviera and enjoy your retirement.

We lose 1-0 to Chelsea after playing the best we have this year and that is what makes you decide pardew has to go? What a joke of a thread.

Been on the fence a while now over Pards but have now come to the end of my tether.

The league form aside, we seem to have issues all over. Our defence does not look robust, solid or organised. Our midfield has little or no creativity, no pace, no runner.
We have one striker albeit not Pards fault but when you are seeing Gayle score every week you then question his decisions.
The major thing for me has been the rush in his head to out Jedinak. On a footballing level you can understand that but then you are left with no leaders. For me the signs of the togetherness which saw us over the line the past few seasons are gone. Jedinak had everyone in that chaging room in order, that seems evident to me from what I see.

This team lacks belief and there seems to be no winning mentality. We can't seem to see half's out let alone game's out and it's time for a change.

We all wanted Al to succeed but for me this is now on the same level as when Holloway was in charge in the premiership. We are in a complete rot!

Take away Al's past affiliation with the club and this guy would have been long gone let's face it.

..another one.

I am on the other side of the fence to you, obviously it would not be the biggest shock in football if AP did get the sack and I would not fall off my chair but if we were to get rid now and and get the same results from a new manager where would go then. The players are still giving it a go and the vast majority at the home games are not venting too much anger. One way or the other it will change but I think he should get a bit longer yet.

Isn't a 15% win rate over 42 games enough?

Well I can't say I disagree with anything you have highlighted there, anyone else would have been long gone but because of his past affiliation with the club he seems to be bullet proof. The past year has been an absolute nightmare and it's got to the point where I dread going to the games now, especially home ones (at least the Crystals are some sort of compensation). We have no God given right to win games I know but to win just six games in a calendar year is pathetic. It's not about luck anymore, good teams have good luck and bad teams have bad luck. Having said that on paper this is a talented squad, just the wrong man at the helm. Get shut now.

Do you think we looked at all a threat yesterday? I certainly didn't. Nor did we on Wednesday. Showed far too much respect and if you sit back for 90 minutes against the big boys there is only one outcome.
When the 5 minutes of additional time went up yesterday, I couldn't believe we had just let the whole half fly by without any sort of reaction.

We seem to overly sit back against the big boys and then go all guns blazing at the smaller teams. Think he is losing the plot! Do not get me started with the same old substitution's week in week out.

Isn't sitting back against the big boys what Pulis does and hoping to get a goal on the break. Everyone seems to think he is a managerial saviour to teams struggling.
