It's easier to say sack Pards, but I think Parish is right in showing balls and faith in keeping him. He has done a great job and will turn things around. The players are battling hard and show great spirit so I'm more than happy. I know we haven't had the rub of the green, bit things will change. Some decisions seem odd, but are probably the right ones even if the results suggest otherwise. Anyway, I'm really positive for 2017 and am sure we'll finish mid table or higher. I don't know what you've been watching then? I don't see anything changing while Pardew is still in charge. He's had long enough to turn things around. Keep dreaming mate. Our performances are not from a mid-table or higher team.

Each year that passes with Parish's reign the fans have been seen as customers. Things have been changed to improve the match day experience, better burgers, a greater selection of beer or some shiny new floodlights. The main area of focus should be what happens on the pitch! 4 wins at home in 2016 is terrible, there is no enjoyment in going to Selhurst. We're not getting any value from our season tickets. Obviously we have no god given right to win, but the board do have a care of duty to put someone in place who is capable in the role. Up until now Parish the board have done well to cut their losses with various managers and it has paid dividends. I'm confused as to why they have given Pardew so long. Ultimately a decision needs to be made as we are in a relegation scrap and the way our form is I can not see us getting out of this slide. For those who have faith in Pardew, I'd be interested to know why you feel he can turn it around. You can't be travelling home and away and witnessing the same baffling tactics that I do.

Because he's just signed a new deal and Parish and him have some sort of mutual admiration society. The moment we finally win another game they'll be both all over the media again having a massive love in and off we go again.

We played well today so you're timings poor. If you can't see a difference between now and the Liverpool game them I don't blame parish for ignoring you as will most fans.

Shyte 2nd half. Pardew chucked a point away on Wednesday and some of the usual bellends on here thought we had more chance today of a point without a minute played compared to 86mins gone on Wednesday. We have some utter morons supporting us and defending this shyte. But love is blind and these divs think supporting Palace and Pardew are mutually inclusive. Bunch of soppy tarts.

Long time lurker, first time poster... Playing Devil's advocate (and I must stress I am as unhappy with anyone else about our dismal run).... When Pardew was offered the large contract extension, it must have been in the back of the boards mind that he may get offered the England job, and as such wanted to protect what was at the time a valuable asset. In hindsight, this didn't happen. However, had it not happened, and had he been offered the England job and left without us getting any compensation, the loud members of the current "Pardew out" brigade would be berating the board for not forward thinking. I've drunk too much to delve in to get the facts and figures here, but lets assume they were to sack Pardew now. They would have to dig deep to afford a large pay off, this is after investing a fair amount (yes I know not much by some club's standards) in new players over the summer. A replacement for Pardew won't come cheap. I imagine Big Sam (realistically the replacement most likely) is probably sat on a beach somewhere and wouldn't want to take over a job like this unless he was paid very well for it. Does a new manager guarantee survival? No. Sacking Pardew, paying him off and paying big bucks to get someone else in would be very bad news if we go down. It's a gamble either way essentially. Football is a business and those calling for his head need to realise it isn't quite as easy as that. It's quite possibly the biggest decision in our history. Just an idea. I don't know the answer. These idiots walking out and booing though is daft. One of the things that makes me so proud to be a part of this club is the spirit of our support- something that has captured the focus of the whole country, other fans and media alike. It's such a shame to be losing it because of a few fools. Thick and thin and all that. We'll bounce back whatever happens. We always do.

PLEASE PLEASE act now Steve and board, I think Pardew is playing who's gonna blink first, so arrogant, thinks he untouchable, just because of ONE headed goal - we all know what goal I mean. Not AP's fault - Townsend is seriously underperforming for us, and worse than that really doesn't appear to give a sh*t/be playing for the shirt. A really infuriating player, who appears to have no backbone or conscience.

What on earth is the justification you have for stating that "he thinks he's untouchable" as he has stated a couple of times in press conferences that he is aware that his job could be at risk.

Right watched Palace for nearly 50yrs now this is the best board, squad I have seen in all that time. So Alan has with the boards support took over when we were struggling to get a toe hold in the division and has gone on to respectable league places and an FA cup appearance.
