Yeh, I blame Simon Jordan for this. I was again reminded by Gary Neville that Palace have the worst record in 2016 of all 92 professional teams. That is pretty indefensible isn’t it? I am the first to roll my eyes at the new craze of sacking managers after 3 losses but this is bordering unprecedented in the Premier league. Villa had deadly Doug and we have fluffy Steve. Fluffy Steve is kind of a walking overreaction to the madness of Jordan, he is meek where Jordan was boisterous. He is placid and slow where Jordan was rash and reckless. Point is we need to be somewhere in the middle. Surely the yank investors must be wanting Pardew out, especially after he insulted them in an interview, so Parish now runs the risk of totally alienating the rich investors – not a great idea. Will we get the transfer money we need in January with Pardew still in charge? Sometimes in football it just stops working, there is no rhyme or reason (in Pardew’s case I could name a few) but sometimes you just have to make a change. I don’t think there is a single Premier league chairman who would have not fired the manager after the Swansea game, given the preceding months of dross? If we go down, and we are a long, long way from that, but if we do, Parish needs to go. Well done for spelling this correct, at least we know you are not Donald Trump.
“ [T]here are known knowns; there are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns; that is to say there are things that, we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don't know. ” |

And he hardly insulted the investors, Parish explained how the other investors (not Harris and Blitzer) admitted at a meal/meeting that they didn't know much about the game and that's where that came from but the media jump on it and don't explain that side of it because obviously all they are interested in is a story and ruining people at the same time.Dont get me wrong I can't stand the s*** football at the moment and I've never liked Pardew and still don't but Parish is blameless in this.I think he's played it perfectly actually because he's given him plenty of time to turn it around but not to the point where we are deep in the s*** and that's why I think he'll give him four more games and that's it because if we don't win any of them then we will be on the verge of being totally in the s***. Football is a "what have you done for me lately" business. Sentiment is what is keeping Pardew in a job with worst record in 2016 of all 92 professional teams! Let that fact sink in a little then tell me if Parish is the best chairman around? Holloway had to beg to be fired. Parish is not a football man. He is the reason we still have a club pretty much, and he should go down in folk-lore for that reason alone but he needs to act decisively and fire Pardew, it is totally incredible that he still has a job with his record.

You honestly believe that Parish is what he is and as rich as he is by being sentimental? I massively disagree with that.Hes also been a lifelong fan brought up in the area so I'd say he's as much as a football man as any of us fans and done absolute wonders for the club.Im not just talking about saving the club either but everything About the club is unrecognisable compared to 5 years ago.

Pardew should have gone by now....but dont question Parish? Seems a bit contradictory dont you think? Parish is the only reason he wasnt fired 2 months ago. Back to my original point here, if we get relegated, then its down to one person - Parish.

What is a football man? I genuinely would like to know, because many Chairmen in the Premier league are mouthpieces for foreign owners.

Not really because even though he hasn't got rid of him yet I'm still not questioning it because as I explained above I can see why he hasn't.If we lose our next 3/4 on the bounce and he's still here then enough is enough but I am massively confident that if that happens he'll be gone.

Because he's too soft to make the decision that we all know needs to be made. Instead he'll wait too long out of loyalty and we'll end up being relegated.

Any chairman in this league would have sacked pardoo off after the Swansea fiasco. It's delaying the inevitable and every game that passes is one less for the new manager to get the back four sorted out and save our season.
